It’s Tarmac so let’s see, we need to improve.” “We will try to do our best on the next rally. Llarena finished a distant 12th in Fafe last season, won the next ERC round in Azores and completed the season as champion, facts not lost on the Rallye Team Spain-supported driver. You can push 200 per cent but you are losing time in every corner, very disappointing.” We were not comfortable with the car, we were always out of the line. “Honestly I tried my best, I was absolutely flat out, unfortunately we were not fast. Here is my take on WRC8 with a ClubSport Wheelbase 2.5 Wheel Rotation 900 Overall Force 100 Self aligning torque 100 Tyre load 60 Self centre 65 Recentre force 100 Vibration Overall vibration 70 Tyre slip 50 Suspension 100 Ground Surface 40 Engine 40 Collision 60 Throttle pedal & Break pedal 100 or 0 (dont have it) ClubSport Wheel Base V2. In some parts I am pushing like hell but I was losing a lot of time in the slow corners. “I’ve never been fast on this rally, but we are losing time in the slow corners, we have no traction, for me it’s a disaster. “In the qualifying I did a mistake and missed a junction but it’s not all about the road position because the road position was not so bad but we are still missing a lot of things, I am not happy at all. “It’s been a tough rally for me,” said the 27-year-old, who is co-driven by two-time European champion co-driver Sara Fernández. He was unable to get back on terms thereafter. His hopes of Portuguese success took a knock when he missed a junction on Friday afternoon’s Qualifying Stage, which left him 19th fastest and saddled with a lowly starting order for the rain-hit Saturday leg. Good luck. The Spaniard was never able to recapture his title-winning form from 2022 aboard his Team MRF Tyres-entered Škoda Fabia RS Rally2, settling for seventh place at the finish on Sunday afternoon. The four training courses can be very helpful for improving you driving technique. A couple clicks of a setting can have a major impact on the vehicles performance, least on my hardware. You learn a lot about how the game behaves when you do this. And if you're not happy with these settings do what I did, start with the defaults and start tweaking. It does require some effort on your part. ![]() I spent some time with Wreckfest a while back doing the same and decided to take a stab at WRC and couldn't be happier with both. I have 1800 hours of playing time with DR2, and honestly never thought I'd like this game, I was so unhappy when I first bought it that I wrote the developers, didn't touch it for months and was willing to wait until 2023 for CM version. Be careful with Engine, it can cause all kinds of weird vibrations. I've done a lot of testing, let me know if you have any questions. Honestly, I don't see much difference regardless of what ingame Max Angle is set too. If you change the settings in Game Controller it almost always resets the ingame Max Wheel Angle to 200. Thru process of elimination was able to determine that reinstalling WRC was the only way to restore FFB. Yes it has it's issues, yesterday I uninstalled Fanalab and it hosed my FFB in WRC. I found that if you take the time to tweak the settings to your hardware this game isn't nearly as bad as people say. If a game has a too high output into the wheel driver, the driver just cuts everything off above '100'. Clipping: the wheel driver has a hardcoded maximum output. I have a DD2, R300 Podium and Heusinveld Pedals, Shifter and HB, spent a few weeks tweaking settings, changing them one click at a time, testing some rally's and ended up with the following. Settings do look okay I personally would just ramp up the self aligning torque to 150 and the 'tyre friction' too. I guess it needs also a bit of getting used to since for some reason cars tend to spin a bit more than dirt? □įor me, surface vibrations are for this game the best and kind of only □ sort of feedback. It was in this position that he ended the rally, setting the fastest time in SS 8, the mythical and 36.72 km long Sisteron-Thoard stage. I know it looks like a looooot of vibration, but it's really not. !!! WARNING !!! My wheel base is set on -LOW TORQUE. Still crying hard to find a better feeling for low speeds, but i guess it's gonna be hard because of the power steering of modern cars? I finally came out with these settings -! which are by no mean perfect !- but they resemble the most the feeling i get with dirt rally 2. ![]()
